This post originated as a comment on an article about the Queen’s State visit to Ireland on Kev Boyle’s blog – “No one to vote for“.  The comment was a bit long  (for a comment) and is suitable as a  separate article here on the WikiSpooks blog – so here it is:

The complexities of hidden, Deep State, Irish  politics are  labyrinthine.  The following is a brief  reflections on the meaning of that State visit in its historical context.

The British Deep State never really lost control of Ireland. The ‘Free State’ was indeed won – but at a terrible cost of division and vicious civil war for the Irish. Throughout its early years, vast efforts to control, suborn, and recruit the leading lights of the new State were redoubled – and were, arguably, wildly successful. There is copious suppressed evidence supporting the view, for example, that both Michael Collins and Eamon De Valera  became effectively and progressively controlled by British Intelligence and that so called ‘Irish Intelligence’ – in the form the Garda Special Branch – was, and to this day remains, controlled from London.  See here for some revealing little tit-bits on the “Irish Secret Services”.  The whole process was – and remains – vastly assisted and enabled by endemic political and judicial corruption too.

As the influence of the original generation(s) of ‘Free-State’ leaders waned with their passing, it seems that effective hidden British control became lax and somewhat lazy – taken for granted you might say. The result was the gradual rise of UNcontrolled prospective leaders, fueled by burgeoning obscene discrimination against the Nationalist (Catholic) population of the North in education and employment. Discrimination which exploded in gross violence against the Belfast-Derry civil right march in 1969 and led to the PIRA campaign that most associate with the words ‘Northern Ireland’ today. The job of British Intelligence then became analogous to the 1918-25 period – to regain control of those leading the opposition and again – arguably – they have been eminently successful.

Neither Ireland nor (especially) Northern Ireland – are ‘Free’ or independent of the British State in any meaningful sense, and any ambition to be so has gradually been overtaken by relentless British Intelligence efforts to control their leaders – all very effectively masked by the new narrative of the so called ‘Peace Process’ (a knee-jerk buzz-phrase as duplicitous and deceptive as its namesake in Palestine)  and handed down by controlled leaders enjoying the perquisites of office and status – whilst all-the-while fearful of exposure of the precise nature of those ‘offers that cannot be refused’ that corrupted them all those years, months or weeks ago. Dennis Donaldson and Freddie Scappaticci are archetypes, but there is evidence that British infiltration, control and agent-provocateuring  of the Irish Republican movement goes way beyond a mere few individuals. For example see ‘Is Martin McGuinnes a British Agent?’. There are credible Irishmen who believe that the vast majority of the Republican leadership is controlled – in varying degrees – by British Intelligence (See Orwellian Ireland by Brian Nugent for example). It all smacks of that startling maxim of arch-Zionist Theodore Hertzl “We will lead every rebellion against us”. It is the “Strategy of Tension” writ large in tragic old Ireland.

The Queen’s visit is pretty much the coup de grace against the present generation of Irish Nationalists and Republicans. It is presented as a historic reconciliation and a crowning of “The peace Process”;  but, in our Orwellian reality, it screams “get back in line you Irish Untermensch  – Your absentee landlords have returned to claim their property and your politicians will be well rewarded for facilitating them whilst telling you – Maggie Thatcher like – “TINA”  and “It’s all for your own good, Honest.”
